Methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI)

MDI (Methylene diphenyl diisocyanate) is one of the isocyanate chemical products together with PPG and TDI. It is the product mixed with PPG to form polyurethane, widely used in our daily life.

Toluene diisocyanate (TDI)

TDI is an isocyanate used primarily in the manufacture of flexible foams. The clear to pale yellow liquid organic compound is toxic, has a sharp odor, and is highly reactive. It is used in the manufacture of polyurethane flexible foam (slab/molding) and non-foam urethanes. Its primary applications include foam cushions for furniture and automotive components.

Polyether Polyol

Polyether Polyol, a chemical compound of Hydroxyl Polyol, is being produced in order to enhance the physical properties, increase the cost effectiveness, and flexibility of the PU materials of Diisocyanate and Polyester. Poly Urethanes (PU) in general are the chemical compounds of isocyanate and Hydroxyl chemicals, such as Polyether Polyol, with the chemical structure of (-NH-CO=O-). PU is also a general term for a high polymer chemically combined with urethane bonds, gained from the reactions between Polyisocyanate and Polyol. Because the recipes of PU making process are various, the outcomes of PU reactions also vary in appearances and properties, from very soft PU like marshmallow to hard PU like concrete. Compared to other polymer chemical compounds, PUs have its own unique properties and thus ideal materials for the happiness and future of mankind. PUs are applied in diverse industries, such as cars, electronic devices, furniture, building.

Polyester Polyol

Polyester Polyol is the result of reactions between a diacidic base and diol and the first polyol used in PU system in history. Polyester Polyol through constant changes and upgrades is still being widely used. KPC group provides Polyester Polyols suitable for flexible PU foam and rigid PU foam.


As there are many types of Polyurethanes, the market needs for various catalysts. In order to meet the market needs, KPC group supply not only toxic catalyst, but also non-toxic catalyst and various reactive catalysts to the markets. We mainly supply Amine-, Bismuth Octoate, DibutylyinDilaurate catalysts to ASEAN areas.


Coscat™ 83 (Catalyst)

Coscat™ 83 is a proprietary organobismuth compound which was specifically developed as a catalyst for 2-component polyurethane systems. Coscat™ 83 is recommended as a sole or co-catalyst in urethane elastomer systems typically requiring lead, mercury or tin catalysts. Coscat™ 83 has a high selectivity toward the polyol-isocyanate reaction, thus avoiding bubble generation at low levels of moisture.


CHDM is a bifunctional alcohol monomer used as a raw material for polyester polymer resins. This versatile product can also be used as a raw material for polyurethane resins or paint resins to increase transparency and strength.


Polyetheramine has a fast reacting nature with isocyanates and is widely used in polyurethane and polyurea applications. It is also used in epoxy systems for metal priming via cathodic electrodeposition.


Cyclopentane is used in the manufacture of synthetic resins and rubber adhesives and also as a blowing agent in the manufacture of polyurethane insulating foam, as found in many domestic appliances such as refrigerators and freezers, replacing alternatives such as CFC-11 and HCFC-141b.
